The results of the analysis are shown in figure 1, which is repeated here. The locus of the
force versus velocity points is seen to overlay the coulomb curve definition.
Further results are shown in figures 4 to xx which show the responses of the
element and the free node.

Figure 4 shows clearly the ratcheting effect of the friction damping curve on
the force. In this case only the damping force is plotted.

Figure 5 shows the decaying spring force in the CBUSH. This excludes the
damping force. The spring force is reducing as energy is taken out of the
system and the CBUSH displacement decays - hence reducing the spring
force.
